Pokémon Season 1 Digital Video Discs

VIZ Media has Pokémon Season 1 DVD boxset listed for release on November 21st, 2006.
Anime on DVD is reporting that VIZ Media plans to release Pokémon Season 1 as a box set in North America. Currently Season 1 and 2 box sets have been announced for Australia and the Master Quest box sets have been out for quite a while now.

'Print publications are obviously made up quite a bit in advance so the reliability of this is quite tentative until full official solicitations come out but it is an interesting peek into a possible set of future changes and releases.'

It is unlikely that english subs, dual audio or an uncut version will be part of this set. A new video transfer to DVD is about the only thing we can expect. The season 1 set should be similar in style to the North American Master Quest sets that VIZ released last year.
